Two years ago Red Basket Farm was part of Toadstone Farms.  Toadstone Farms included egg production. The name Toadstone Farms and its poultry were sold in 2007.  Since the name was sold a new name was needed for the vegetable production portion of the farm.  Hence, the name Red Basket Farm.

Many heirloom crops are grown, interesting varieties are tried annually. The season is late May until mid October, ending with "the Pumpkin Party" just before Halloween. Last year we shelled heirloom beans at the party - the pumpkins were upstaged!
