There are, as suggested, indisputable benefits of locally-grown produce,
the environmentally-friendlier aspects such as decreased transportation
costs, fresher food, and keeping food dollars circulating in our local
economy.

• SWWACSA farms provide locally grown food that is more sustainable and environmentally friendly than conventional food outlets. 

• SWWACSA's can provide a more fresh, potentially more nutritious alternative and safe food source, which leads to more financial satisfaction.

• SWWACSA's can provide more value as the produce often lasts longer than that which is trucked in and sometimes picked before achieving optimal maturity/flavour.
